Hello, Dungeon Defenders and readers.

For more than a year now (since January/February 2020), I have been the main person responsible for updating this wiki according to the final version of Vanilla DD1 on PC and more recently: Redux, which is now accessible through Steam itself (for Microsoft Windows users)! Check out this post from Chromatic Games (formally Trendy Entertainment) for installation instructions. I also wrote a more in-depth overview of the branch here.

This online resource is still a long ways away from being 99% reliable today. It is a HUGE undertaking for me as a sole writer and editor. I would therefore appreciate any of you knowledgeable people to help me through this endeavor and give respectable feedback.

If you want to help out with writing, I advise creating a Fandom if you don't have one already. Here are a few guidelines I have established and demonstrated on my plethora of created/edited pages:

• Outside of guides and strategy/tips sections, all articles should be written in third-person exclusively. First-person writing is only allowed in guides.

• For articles about a single in-game item or enemy, their corresponding info box should go right after the platform exclusivity template.

• If you are having trouble rearranging information in the visual editor, try using the source editor instead.

• All hero class names, defenses, enemy names, etc. are purposely treated as proper nouns and therefore always capitalized for better readability. Chromatic Games follows this exact format in their update changelogs.

• The Trivia section goes before Version History.

• Only upload screenshot images of high quality, with the original shots taken at 1280x720 resolution or higher. Other specifications include: "High" graphics setting, "Postprocessing" enabled and 'fixed' texture streaming pool sizes (patched .ini configs can be found here).
