Accessories are equipable items that were added with PC Patch 7.30.
They are map completion rewards and rare enemy/chest drops that boost the hero's stats. They allow players to further visually customize their heroes to a small extent. Some accessories provide a cosmetic set bonus if at least 2-3 applicable pieces are equipped.
There are five types of accessories: bracers, brooches and hats, masks and shields. Heroes may equip only one of each of category at a time. Only the Squire and Countess and Hermit can equip shields.

Notes[]
- The cost of upgrading accessories exponentially increases faster than any other type of item.
- Due to integer overflow and being a 32-bit integer, the mana cost for all upgrades after the ~2.1 billion mark will be one (1) mana.
- Excluding the Old One's Bracers, accessories not obtained through events cannot exceed Ultimate quality. Accessories of this quality are extremely rare; Supremes are far more common from Nightmare and Ascension clears.
- Accessories are more prone to roll with negative stats than other equipment of the same quality tier, even those from Nightmare or Ascension Hardcore/Ruthless runs.
- The overlay map marks accessories with a small mask icon
with the color that corresponds to their quality. - The item limit does not apply to accessories outside the tavern. They will never despawn in place of other items dropped.
Tips[]
- A very efficient way to acquire decent accessories is to repetitively use The BF Drill to clear Lab Assault on Nightmare Hardcore.
- On Ascension, the enemy EVs will unfortunately teleport back onto the map if they are exploited into falling off.
Trivia[]
- Discord user *b#3461, a Redux play tester, once modelled and shared an accessory that had approximately six times the geometry of The Tinkerer's Lab map in its entirety.
