The Apprentice Animus is a type of Familar. It attacks enemies with multiple heroic arrows.
- Can only be equipped by Series EV, Apprentice and Adept.
- Heroic arrows can penetrate through walls.
- Heroic arrows have a damage multiplier based on the Hero's Damage stat.
Unlock Conditions
For the Apprentice Animus to become available for sale at the Tavern Shop, players must defeat the Ancient Dragon in The Summit on at least Insane Difficulty as an Apprentice or Adept.
Players must note that even after completing a pet's unlock conditions, it may not immediately be available for sale at the Tavern Shop. The chance of an unlocked pet being available for sale at the tavern shop is dependent on its rarity.
PC/PS3/360
- The Apprentice Animus has a level requirement of 60. However, this is increased to level 74 for item's of Mythical Quality.
- As of PC patch 7.16c, Animi are now 7x more effective on Nightmare Dificulty.
Mobile
- Rewarded by completing the Death From Above challenge as an Apprentice on at least Medium Difficulty.
Related Items
Other animi are unlocked by defeating the Ancient Dragon in The Summit on at least Insane Difficulty while playing other hero classes. Note that these familiars can only be equipped by their corresponding hero class (e.g. an Apprentice or Adept can only equip the Apprentice Animus).
