Costumes, also known as "skins", change the appearance — and sometimes even the attributes — of heroes. Costumes may be bought as Downloadable Content, and/or unlocked by for completing certain missions or achievements.
To use a costume, go to the select your character screen, right before finding a game, click "change character", click "edit hero" after you've selected your hero, and click "change costume" until your desired costume is shown.

- Desert Princess
- Unlocked after completing Moraggo Desert Town.
- Steampunk Costume
- Unlocked with the Lucky Community Costume Pack.
Apprentice[]
- GW Costume
- Unlocked after completing Presidential Battle Royale as an Apprentice .
- Jim Darkmagic Costume
- Unlocked with the Penny Arcade Character Pack.
- Increases health at the cost of movement speed.
- Leprechaun Costume
- Unlocked with the Lucky Community Costume Pack.
- Mummy Costume
- Unlocked with the Halloween Costume Pack.
- Pilgrim Costume
- Unlocked after completing The Great Turkey Hunt! on Easy or higher.
- Santa Costume
- Unlocked after completing Etherian Holiday Extravaganza on Medium or higher.
- Vampire Costume
- Unlocked after completing Halloween Spooktacular! on Hard or higher as an Apprentice.
- Legendary Mage Costume
- Unlocked after defeating the Old One in the Crystalline Dimension as an an Apprentice, Adept or Jester.
- Increases health at the cost of movement speed.
- Super Legendary Mage Costume
- Unlocked after defeating the Old One in the Crystalline Dimension on Nightmare Difficulty with Hardcore Mode enabled as an Apprentice, Adept or Jester.
- Increases health and damage, but significantly reduces movement speed.
- Super Legendary Crystalline Mage Costume (Redux Only)
- Unlocked after defeating the Old One in the Crystalline Dimension on Ascension as an Apprentice, Adept or Jester. Hardcore does not have to be enabled.
- Same stat changes as the Nightmare Hardcore counterpart.
Barbarian[]
- Amazon Barbarian
- Unlocked after completing Karathiki Jungle on Medium or higher.
- Increases movement speed at the cost of health.
- Scottish Warrior Costume
- Unlocked with the Lucky Community Costume Pack.
- Santa Imposter Costume
- Unlocked after completing Silent Night on Nightmare Difficulty with the Barbarian.
- Increases health and damage, but reduces movement speed.
- Tavernkeep Imposter Costume
- Unlocked with the Ultimate Defender Achievement.
- Increases health and damage, but significantly reduces movement speed.
- Pirate Imposter Costume (Redux Only)
- Unlocked after completing Halloween Spooktacular 3! on Ascension.
- Same stat changes as the Tavernkeep Imposter.
Countess[]
- Queen of Hearts Costume
- Unlocked after completing Sky O' Love on Hard or higher.
- Mermaid Costume
- Unlocked after completing Aquanos.
Huntress[]

- Unlocked by completing Lab Assault on Nightmare Difficulty with Hardcore Mode enabled.
- Increases health and hero damage and grants hovering, but significantly reduces movement speed.

- Unlocked after completing Halloween Spooktacular! or Halloween Spooktacular 2! on Hard or higher as a Squire or Barbarian.

- Increases movement speed and reduces health to Countess levels.
