Basics

The Dark Elf Warrior (DEW) is a very nimble enemy that prioritizes attacking players directly, often ignoring defenses. It can evade towers by jumping high over them and can find the Huntress while she is invisible.

When the Warrior first sees a player, it usually leaps high towards them and performs a circular slice upon landing. When close enough to the player, it can charge them at great speed to close the distance before striking.

DEW are known to sometimes attack Towers if no Heroes are nearby, causing immense damage and potentially destroying multiple Towers with their swift attacks.

DEW are also capable of damaging anything below them when landing after their jumps, including the Ethernia Crystals!

Attributes

  • Normally have attack extremely fast Generic and Electrical damage, as evidenced by the dual damage #'s (one being blue) when players are hit by them.
  • Can have other attributes in place of Electrical damage

Strategy

Darkelfwarrior

Appearance

  • Depending on the map and mode, one should cover vulnerable defenses with Strength Drain auras to reduce the rate at which these towers die.
  • Wearing ~90% Generic/Fire/Electric resistance gear also helps survive DEW swarms until towers and hero damage can take them down.
  • If one can stand in a Strength Drain, Healing Aura combo with Electric Aura and Inferno Trap ticking away at the DEWs, the DEWs will eventually succumb to withering damage.
  • Don't forget your Apprentice Guardian to boost tower help. Apprentice Guardians improve a 20% Strength Drain to 8% or less!
