stat determines the amount of hit points a hero's defenses will have.
- For the Monk or Initiate, this stat determines the lifespan of their auras.
- For a Huntress or Ranger's traps, this stat determines the amount of detonations on their traps, as well as the effect duration of the Gas Trap, Darkness Trap and Inferno Trap per detonation.
- In the Barbarian's case, Siphon Stance's effectivenes is determined by this stat.
- Having a Defense Health stat < 0 (negative) will be the same as if it was zero.
Nonlinear regression of defense health values from 0 to 60 suggests a multiplier like this:
- sqrt(1.05 x + 0.84)
though this is not perfect fit
