Experience Guide

Experience (EXP or XP for short) is required for a character to level up and gain skill points. It is mainly earned through combat during missions.

On PC, pets effectively gain experience with the hero they are equipped to. This reduces the mana cost to upgrade the pet.

Experience can be gained in a few different ways:

Killing creatures - The amount gained is proportional to the type of creature, difficulty level, and wave. The character gains XP from both hero and tower kills. On the PC version, experience from killing creatures is not shared among the entire party.
Awards - Small to large XP bonuses for completing waves, various tasks and accomplishments. End of Wave bonus provides much of the experience gained on a map. The higher the wave number, the higher the experience bonus. The XP gained for completing a wave and the time bonus are shared among the party.

There is a limit to the number of skill points that can be used for a particular attribute: 985 for PC, 120 for consoles and 60 for Mobile.

Experience Table

The XP needed to reach the next increases with every level. After level 70, the XP required increases dramatically.

Max level varies depending on platform, PC: 100, Consoles: 90, Mobile: 80.
