Bonus-Tavern-Defense
Tavern Defense, also known as Tavern Siege, is a bonus map that was released on October 16, 2012,
as part of the free Anniversary Pack DLC. It is seen by many as a relatively easy map to earn experience points fast. This map is located in and around the Tavern.
Gameplay[]
This map features two Eternia Crystals, one inside the tavern at the same location as in the normal tavern and one on the outside.
Waves[]
The level starts at wave 7 and ends at wave 14, making the total number of waves eight for the Campaign. After completing these eight waves, the three bosses appear after a countdown of only three macro seconds, rather than the usual 15: Mega Cupid, Mega Snowman and Mega Turkey.

Notes/Tips[]
- Regular Ogres (and Cyclopes on Ascension) only spawn from the two buildings whose paths lead to the north crystal.
- This means that no physical defenses are needed at the indoor core for Ogres to be aggroed to. However, on Campaign, beware of Mega Cupid's arrows as they can easily destroy Apprentice towers if not well-protected behind Reflection Beams.
Trivia[]
The Tavern secret room is removed on this map; nobody can pass through its door.
Upon reaching 15 in either Pure Strategy or Survival, a message is displayed near the top of the screen, "Keep going... you can do it, work that treadmill!!!"
