Insane+ is the highest difficulty on Xbox 360 / PS3. Insane+ became available in Title Update 4 (some regions cannot play Insane+ difficulty on PS3 as the update never launched in certain regions) and can be toggled after being on Insane Difficulty by pressing the Right Bumper on the controller.

Insane+ was the replacement difficulty for Nightmare on consoles.

Changes To Regular Insane Difficulty[]

  • Enabling Mix Mode makes the hard mode enemies become Hard+ that have the same Multipliers of Insane+
  • Increases the max possible stats certain items and pets can spawn with.
  • There is a slight multiplier to item drop stats, levels, and quality. The multiplier is currently unknown and needs more information. The Tavernkeeper is also more likely to reward better loot from missions. However this isn't always the case.
Multipliers
Health X61
Damage X4.152
Score/EXP X2.5
Core Health X2
  1. Multiplier is consistent across all enemies excluding The Old One.
  2. Multiplier is what is seen on deeper well, though it is not consistent across all maps and enemies.

Additional info[]

  • Some mobs aggro range is also effected by Insane+ though by how much is to be determined (Ex. Kobold).
Medium Plus
  • Resetting the tutorial with Insane+ enabled and entering the tutorial makes the game be the difficulty level Medium+
  • On wave 6/6 of foundries & Forges, the hard mode ogre spawns with the Multipliers of Insane+ and have nearly 300K health with 1 player, and nearly 1M health with 4 players. On Pure Strategy, the ogre is not on Hard Difficulty.
  • Having Insane+ enabled and going one difficulty level below, will create a visual bug online. It will show Hard+ / Medium+ / Easy+, on their corresponding difficulty levels.
  • Anti Heroes do not gain a x4.15 damage multiplier for their ability attacks or normal attacks. These enemies are found on Crystalline Dimension.
