The Jester is an additional hero class that will be available as part of the Jester Hero Class DLC. It is expected to be released for the PC by August 8, 2012. Trendy revealed in the 7/25/12 DunDef Digest that it will be free for two weeks and then being selled at 3.99 USD.
There are no future plans for a console release.

A sly trickster in the service of the royal court, the Jester will provide long-time fan-requested capabilities and unique combat and defensive strategies.

Defenses
The Jester will utilise a variety of presents at her disposal. She has three tower types, each one a different size of Present: Small (1 DU), Medium (2 DUs) and Large (3 DUs). The higher-quality Presents are more likely to yield high-end rewards. That can include a random powerful Tower given to you for less DUs than normal (whatever the DUs of the original Present), loot, mana or various long-lasting explosion and gas effects. Further details are yet to be released.
Abilities
- Wheel o' Fortuna - Places a random environmental buff or debuff. This can vary from repairing all hero defenses to making all enemies twice as strong.
- Move Defenses - Allows a placed hero defense to be moved around the battlefield.
Weapons
The Jester has the ability to wield two of any class weapon, with the ability to switch between them at will (much like Series EV)
It has been confirmed that The Jester will have the ability to use EVERY weapon in the game.
