Kobolds are one-shot attempts to kill a Hero or destroy a defense. They are classified as elves, and look like they are emaciated. they are willing to be martyrs as they have been told that 70 kobold virgins will be waiting for them in heaven. You'll know they are near by their scream (Wahhhhhhhhhhhh!) until they explode. If you can avoid their explosion, it is best to do so. If you hear a scream, you can often drop down a level and let their short fuse kill themselves.The Huntress can use invisibility to avoid them.

An effective strategy for dealing with Kobolds is to place [[Ensnare Aura]]s in front of your defenses, which causes incoming Kobolds to slow down dramatically and gives your towers a much longer period of time to kill them before they reach your defenses.

Kobolds are suicidal monsters that blow themselves up in an effort to damage heroes, towers, or Eternia Crystals.
