Warping Core is a challenge where the Eternia Crystal (the 'core') teleports to a set number of given places across the Magus Quarters.

There are six different core locations, visibly marked on the ground: the main starting position, three spots at the mid level, and two other locations on the lower level. As the five secondary warp locations are all right in front of enemy spawns, players must react very quickly when the crystal warps across the map. An Ogre arrives at the central spawn point during the sixth wave, but there are no Wyverns.

It is possible for the Crystal to warp to the same spot, that is, not move despite the message stating that the core has warped to a new location.

A fine strategy for completing this would be to put blockades at the small stairs in front of the enemy spawn points. You still have to dispose of their archers fast though, since they can shoot your crystal from afar. For the lower level warp points you can place 1 or 2 blockades in line of sight for archers. The best blockades for all these defenses are Slice 'N Dice from the squire. But can be altered due to personal preference.

Another strategy would be to just use Bowling Ball Turrets shooting down the stairs in front of each lane. For the bottom lanes all you really need is a Slice 'N Dice or a Bouncer to keep them distracted. This strategy will only work if your Squire is a tower build.

To add yet another strategy (one that rarely allows crystal damage): Place a Spiked Blockade at both staircases near main spawns. Place another in the middle of railing in front of where the crystal warps near main spawns. This protects from archers. Place a Bowling Ball Turret facing the corner spawns and place a Spiked Blockade stair-side to deny direct access to the crystal. Place a Proximity Mine near every Spiked Blockade including the ones on the railings. These will go in the pit. Place another one on each end of the map on the path up from below.

First wave will require Hero DPS to clean up strays, but should be a cake walk. Once the setup is complete just run around and repair traps and DPS down the one ogre that comes on the later waves.

Monk/Apprentice

This setup is similar to the normal 'Magus Headquarters' setup, with auras covering the three main spawns, and a Fireball tower covering each side of the stairs. For the lower level spawns, either Fireball/Lightning tower combo or a couple of Magic Missile towers should easily take care of any mobs.
